A Week of Firsts :)

Wow, what a week my girl has had! Just a few days ago, she broke out into a fit of laughs and giggles when I was changing her bum, saying she had a stinky a**, yes what a mother, eh? Don't worry I won't say such things when she's old enough to understand. But it worked, and Chris and I got to share that first together. Just now, she was on her back on the couch, flipped to her side for a few seconds, then proceeded to go all the way onto her tummy, a full first flip! Yay, its crazy how much she grows and changes every day. I am trying to hang onto to every moment. I love this little gift I have been given so much, what a blessing she is.

Karate Kid

One of Lex's favourite pastimes of late has been kicking, anything, anyone, she loves her legs and using them to create havoc, sometimes dangerously near her daddy's nether regions.

Summer = Water Fun

This past week Lex and I checked out the wading pool at Riley Park, which is only about 5 minutes from our house! She had tons of fun after the initial shock of the cool water :) We would play in the little pool and sit in the little falls part, then go back to the shade and repeat. I am so happy my girl loves the water like I do. We'll have even more fun this summer at Grandpa and Grandma Beebe's!!

Schleper's Deck

One of our favourite hangouts of late has been our pal Schleper's deck! There you can find shade, sunshine, drinks, fun times and crazy people, namely Schleper. Lex loves to go visit, even when people put silly hats and glasses on her, its worth it!

Jumparoo

Here I am in my favourite place, my Rainforest Jumparoo. At first I wasn't too sure about it, but now I love to turn myself around, play with the toys and jump from side to side!
